My oldest relatives in this side of the family tree are Lula Badger Mcmillian and Richard "Dick" Mcmillian from Barnwell County South Carolina.
In searching for more records I found one that listed Lula Badger with Rebecca as her mother. My Grandmother had been telling me that Maggie Odom's mothers name was Rebecca until we found out it was Lula Badger. So I figured that Rebecca could possibly be Maggie Odom's maternal grandmother.
Then I found a record that showed Rebecca married to a Patterson. Joseph Patterson.
When I attached that record to her profile, a hint popped up for a family tree connection. On that family tree I saw a picture for Joseph Patterson that I recognized.
At a recent funeral for Edith Deloach Bell, I used her obituary to construct her family tree. I noticed the picture of Joe Faye Patterson was the some picture of Joseph Patterson on my family tree...
